PSC Office Products has operated in an environmentally responsible manner for decades. In addition, IBM explicitly encouraged its suppliers to take additional environmental initiatives and actions. To that end, we have reduced our solid waste disposal over 10% in the past three months with recycling programs.

PSC Office Products has never received any environmental notices of violation, fines, or penalties. We operate in full compliance with our air discharge permits. PSC Office Products knows how effective environmental management makes good business sense.

There are changes at PSC Fabricating for 2010. Effective January 1, Mike Mattingly assumes the position of General Manager, Bob Chandler is now the assigned Manufacturing Manager, and Gary Young is appointed National Sales Manager. The intention over the next six months is to integrate PSC Office Products back into PSC Fabricating.

PSC Fabricating sees growth opportunities in 2010. The changes will position our sales and marketing effort to meet the new customer demands. Manufacturing is challenged to improve efficiency while maintaining PSC Fabricating’s high quality reputation. Improvements in manufacturing equipment, material management, and order processing will create more cost savings for our customers.

Inclusion of the Office Products division into PSC Fabricating opens new opportunities for growth. The Office Products division brings new equipment capability and manufacturing experience to the mix of services offered by PSC Fabricating. We will be doing things smarter and faster in 2010.

PSC Fabricating would also like to announce that Mr. Buck Thacker remains on at PSC Industries Board of Directors but has turned over the office of President to Mr. Damion Osbourne. Damion will manage the daily activities of PSC Industries. We would like to thank Mr. Thacker for his daily leadership and service over the past 47 years.

PSC Fabricating wishes a Happy New Year to our customers, employees, and families. May 2010 be a healthy and prosperous year for all!

Quality sells the customer that keeps the company in business. No question about it, high quality work allows our company to thrive. A recent poll asked consumers what they thought of products and services compared to years ago. Most consumers said that quality had definitely gotten worse and that they were not getting their monies worth anymore. Another study traced the drop in quality directly to the work people did.

Customers naturally want the most reliable goods and services they can get for their money. As someone wisely observed, you cannot sell poor quality no mater how low the price. Producing high quality products benefits everyone.

With that in mind we are pleased to report that the quality at PSC Fabricating is at an all time high. Customers like Toyota and Gobar Systems report 0 defects in the thousands of parts supplied to date.

PSC Fabricating is well on its way to recording less than 100 defective parts to customers in 2009. Never settle for less than your best. Our business is pleasing the customer.

Buck Thacker, President
